Acquiring Land & Developing New Outlet Centres: We acquire prime land and develop cutting-edge outlet centers, carefully selecting a dynamic mix of designer brands and food and beverage operators to create exceptional shopping destinations that drive profitability. In 2023, we proudly opened our newest centre Paris-Giverny Designer Outlet.
Expanding and Enhancing Existing Centres: We continually invest in the strategic expansion, refurbishment, and enhancement of our existing centres, increasing their scale and refining the brand mix to deliver an exceptional shopping experience and stay ahead of market trends. Affinity groups are an integral part of our organisation because they foster a sense of belonging, support, and empowerment among colleagues with shared identities or experiences. These groups provide a space for us to connect, share insights, and address challenges unique to their backgrounds, promoting both personal and professional growth. By supporting affinity groups, we encourage a culture of inclusivity and understanding, which strengthens collaboration, enhances diversity of thought, and helps drive our commitment to a more equitable and inclusive workplace.

We have 4 affinity groups ran and led by our colleagues:
Families (The Voice for Everybody): this initiative aims to cultivate a supportive environment where individuals can freely share their experiences and authentic selves. By fostering open communication between our colleagues and senior leadership, we aspire to drive positive change and continue to further enhance inclusivity and equity in our workplace. The Family Affinity Group will serve as a platform to explore topics such as family dynamics, diverse family structures, parenting, and career development.
Proud (LGBTQ+ and Allies): a community that advocates for the rights and inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies. It fosters a supportive environment, promotes awareness, and works towards equality, providing resources and a platform for advocacy and allyship. Their aim is to nurture an open and respectful environment where everyone can be their authentic selves, a place where we can be PROUD! to be our true selves. The groups motto is: “We believe everyone should be able to express themselves for who they are.”
Diversability (Celebrating what makes us different): The groups primary aim is to reduce the stigma surrounding differences, and to increase awareness and understanding within our business through the eyes of all abilities. We believe that we have the power to accomplish this, not just here at McArthurGlen, but within communities we all live in. The group was born out of the desires of our colleagues, and in the year of the Paralympic Games, it was a great time to take inspiration from one of the world’s most inclusive events. ‘Para’ means ‘alongside’, and people with disabilities are alongside us – as our family, friends, colleagues and guests. With the approach of being alongside each other, change is always possible.
Gender Equality In Action: a passionate and diverse group of individuals committed to fostering inclusivity and equity. Each member brings unique experiences, skills and perspectives, working together to drive meaningful change. The mission of this new group is to actively promote and implement gender equality by raising awareness, challenging stereotypes, advocating for policy changes, and working towards a balanced gender representation across all levels and departments.
